Contribute FeedbackThe Bayee Village Chinese Restaurant in Wimbledon Village received mixed reviews from diners. While some found it to be overpriced with lackluster food and dated ambiance, others praised it for its traditional menu, delicious dishes, and attentive service. The restaurant offers a variety of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, with standout dishes like the Rotisserie sampler, Aromatic Duck, and sizzling seafood platter. Despite the higher prices, many guests felt that the quality of the food justified the cost, making it a worthwhile dining experience for those seeking authentic Chinese cuisine.
Was a decision in the last minute to go to bayee village, but we went and it was for an occasion dinner, it was id we had reserved so that we escorted on our table. it was a beautiful decoration, a very classic restaurant nothing wow or unique. Drink menu was really limited, no interesting inventions or mocktails. the one we ordered for £5 wasn't that nice. starter again the standard advertising menu was very limited. we ordered chilli and salt squid. considering that it was supposed to be a high-quality restaurant squid was really very average. very bland and definitiw not spicy enough. we also had a sweet choir soup and asked her to add tofu that was nice as a soup...read more
I have often been here, I am sorry to say I always find it overpriced! they also allow them to order too much food they often leave because it is only too much) located in wimbledon village, it has a first-class place, but no personal service and if they spend wan tyro this type of money, I suggest they go elsewhere!
Great food and good service, especially when sitting on peters table. I've been there for years and still love it
I came to dinner with my friend and they had just opened, so it wasn't busy I ordered chicken-chow mean, the grating face lamme with ingwer and earlyling wobble and my friend had a fried rice with bark in black buoyant sauce. eating was very nice. the griddle sizzler was amazing and had so much taste, I would recommend it. the bark in black bean sauce was also really good. the sauce was very tasty and the bark was very tender the service is very good and the staff were very attentive and friendly, but they did not seem very enthusiastic at me, the photos of the place that was eating was a bit expensive, but tasty, so I will definitely return soon.
Located in the heart of Wimbledon village, buzzing with weekend shoppers you will find this is the only Chinese restaurant in the village, surrounded by every other branded restaurant you would expect to find in an upmarket part of town Here you have the option of eating in the front garden area or step inside you will find a surprisingly large restaurant. Service is good and fast, the food is nice but I feel the prices are a little on the high side, 15 for a 1/4 crispy duck! Having a quick lunch for two we had crispy duck, six prawn dumplings, some baby ribs that weren't great 10) and two cokes, this came to 50, knowing the village well, you can certainly eat a lot more for...read more
