While its casual ambiance and lunch deals provide great value, some diners have noted inconsistencies in portion sizes and dish authenticity, including bland flavors and oversweet options. Despite this, the restaurant maintains its appeal with a relaxed atmosphere, making it ideal for casual meals or vibrant gatherings. While the noise levels might not suit business lunches, the overall charm and divine food can’t be overlooked, encouraging repeat visits from many patrons.
I really liked eating in budaba, but the portions are really small, so I felt a bit hungry. I had fishcake, ginger beef and sticky rice and banana fritter. the whole food was very tasty and I will return again for diner in this restaurant in the future
This Busava has fast become my favourite, because itâs just that bit smaller than some of others meaning service is usually quicker and noise levels are reasonable. The only mark down on value for money is because i think buscaba is too expensive for a canteen style restaurant. Still I always go and always pay. Itâs that this calamari...itâs an addiction.
Disappointing to find the quality of this chain has fallen considerably.
It was a very busy evening in there, Friday night, I get it but our food took a long time to arrive. Drinks also took ages. One meal wasn't available any more so our order had to be changed and this arrived far later than the other food. Some was cold but we didn't complain as we needed to eat and get out. The waitress was friendly and was doing her best but we were very disappointed as usually we really like it in there. Would hesitate to go back.
The standard of some dishes seems to have slipped. The green curry with chicken was not acceptable with only three pieces of chicken and represents poor value for money at without rice. I raised this with the manager, but no resolution was offered. I was told that portions are weighed, so I can only assume the meanness of the portion was a deliberate choice by the restaurant. The bang kapi katsu and rice (crispy chicken and curry sauce) on a previous visit was very bland. Reluctant to return, especially given the abundance of other Thai restaurants to choose from.
