Desperados - London

Ordered takeaway, it was awful, tasteless and cold, threw the lot in the bin, wish I hadn't bothered now, what a waste of money!

We were a large group of friends turned down by another local restaurant, so decided to give Desperados, now called Medley Market a go. They offer a great variety of brands, different burgers, chicken, beef and pork, the tacos were really good but I must say the Nachos were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Definitely coming back for more. Thank you to the lovely staff too.

Myself a 3 friends visited this place as part of our monthly dinner club. It was terrible. We weee sat next to a queue of Uber eat drivers who were on their phones and literally hovering over our table. There was a constant flow of them throughout our meal. Drinks came out as warm cans of coke. We were provided a glass and ice which didn’t make much difference. Burgers were quite plain and dry and the chicken wings didn’t have much meat on them and the sauce was not spicy as advertised on the menu. It was taco Thursday on their website but the staff said they didn’t know anything about it so the offer was not available to us The max and cheese was straight from a tin and microwaved. They forgot our jalepeno poppers. When they brought them out eventually, they were freezing cold in the middle. Not a great experience. Wouldn’t return. Might do a job as a takeaway but definitely not a restaurant. AVOID.

Ordered food on Uber eats turned up 1 hour 40 minutes late absolutely disgusting and stone cold rung restaurant response was nothing they can do waist of £26 pounds recommend avoiding this restaurant

The restaurant is now called Medley Market. My husband and I visited on a Monday night I'd phoned ahead to reserve an outside table so we could bring our dog with us. We both thought the food was very tasty and the portion sizes generous. The lady serving us was lovely. It didn't bother us, particularly as we were sitting outside so separate to the restaurant body as such, but we were the only customers the whole time we were there. Parking on the side street nearby is free after 6.30pm.
