There's a point out there where the very unfashionable City gives way to the uber fashionable Shoreditch and Eyre Brothers has for the past decade operated on what must be the border. In an uncharacteristic club night for one half of the CC, the DSLR left at home given its bulk but the compact slipped in to my back pocket, my pre club filler was what the website describes as London's finest, authentic Iberian food'. All of the dishes were fine, with the Fillet of Iberico Pig being the best of the lot. But it wasn't a meal that sticks in my memory to particularly recommend.
Disagreeable. We once liked this place. Very smart interior. But that doesn't make for a good evening on its own. Food pretty good. But in truth over priced and very quiet, bordering on the empty. There are are lots of alternatives in this area. The biggest downside is the guy who claims to be the owner. Never have we been confronted by a ruder and more disagreeable man. Quite extraordinary. He makes Basil Fawlty look like Rocco Forte. Don't go here. Don't give him your money.
