Read Mr Zaman's poor review and felt I had to tell of my repeated as often as poss. experience.Found this place by chance, it looked busy! And now can't stop going back.Staff are always friendly and always busy. Food is of a very good standard. Value for money is exceptional. In fact just talked myself into another visit.. What Mac Thali's doesn't like about Lahore Karahi:
Was looking forward to eating at this restaurant with my family. finally seated we noticed two photographer's taking photos and walking around the tables which was very off putting and very annoying . It was very difficult to relax and enjoy our meal. Had we been told this was going to happen before entering the restaurant we would have not dined at this restaurant. No apology from the Owner at all. View all feedback.
That is restaurant has no honest hospitality, we ordered to eat and I told the staff that I ask them to prepare a fresh grill of chickenska and not the ones that they have displayed, he agreed and said it would take extra time to prepare a, I said it ok, I can wait after 30 min, they brought me the food, but unfortunately they tried to warm the hem and show that they were in the bill
Much better than your average high street curry house but pretty average compared to the competition in the area. Some dishes tasted a little bland
Finally on the second day I was able to drop in to Lahore Karahi on a Sunday late around 11pm. Ordered butter and Garlic nans along with Chicken Butter Masala, Lamb curry and Aubergine Masala. The Chicken Butter Masala was awesome and this is a BYOB place. Nice place to have a good Pakistani meal.
Went with some Friends and after eating in Tayyabs expected food in similar lines and in all honesty it was no way near that .Kebabs were below par and curries Lamb and Chicken was nothing special . Need to do better than that .

CURRYBOND however takes the opportunity to soak in the ambience at Lahore and take our seats in the plentiful seating available over two floors. The restaurant was busy on arrival and continued to fill up to capacity on the ground floor at least. Certainly popular with the locals, was it reflected in the...read more
