a fine member of the pub club around temple, the vibe and character of the local with fine beers, both sharp and cauber. beautiful atmosphere in pub helped by quick and friendly service at the bar. Apparently both sirs isaac newton and edmund halley are regular, although I suspect that edmund only appears every 76 years in once. also here at my visit! a simple toastie menu, cheap but fine for a proper pub. a more ple... food: 4/5 drinks: 4/5 service: 3/5 total: 3.33/5 came here with my group of tours, so my experience may have been very different from a typical visit here.

cozy old pub with a large upper floor room for special events (which is why I visited) the staff was nice, although the drinks prices were incompatible. Nice.

"Mixing the idea of Italian cuisine with Japanese ingredients is brilliant. while some of the dishes hit this height, there were a few misses and the pavement of the meal felt a little hurried. still very good value for 10 courses."

"Tasty fish options. Accommodating with my shellfish allergy. Great service. I enjoyed the ambiance, good music and being able to see the kitchen. I enjoyed the food, but it was expensive and the whole experience not very memorable. I am happy I went, enjoyed it, but wouldn’t go back. I wouldn’t recommend for a ‘special’ eveningX"

"The restaurant was empty when we arrived for our reservation. we were not visited as fast as it should be. another table did not sit too long after us and was served immediately. if a restaurant is as empty as this with plentiful staff, the service should have been much better. our plates were not deleted or changed after each cure. we had to ask. with food, this stinging and tasteful, plate change should be given. we had to ask for water again and again. there was a very Kursian explanation of each plate, and the recitations were hurried and red. the courts were so unusual, it would have been nice if the server acted as if they were taking care of them. when chef sully appeared, we were very excited to have the opportunity to talk to him. he spoke with the staff, then held at the only other table in the restaurant. from any reason he did not come to our table. we really wanted to meet him, so I asked if he was still there and was told by a worker that he was just outside. actually it wasn't. concerning eating, it was raised. the careful in the creation of each teller and each plate was obvious. the beef races were really excellent, accompanied by the pancetta tomaten ragu and a tasteful oyster mushroom mayo foam. my favorite was the gurkensalat, which was decorated with mango, cocosnus and buttery sunflower seeds. wow! my only culinary complaint is that every dish with oyster mushrooms was much too salted and many dishes contained them. also the lamb shell was prepared with lamb, which consisted only of gristle and fat. they were serious."
