Many diners enjoy the elegant atmosphere, complemented by a varied lunch menu featuring linen service. However, experiences can vary; while some patrons have found the food delicious, others have noted inconsistencies in quality, particularly with salty mains devoid of flavor. Service can be a hit or miss—prompt for some yet sluggish for others. Despite these drawbacks, the cafe remains a pleasant choice for a leisurely meal or afternoon tea.
Unbelievable. excellent for meeting friends and chatting (no fight against ambient noise). good eating a little expensive, but not too bad considering that it is in the center of london. service a little slow only one person do coffee, tees, drinks and until day I was there, but this is picky. overall, very pleasant.
This is a charming place that I often enjoy with great pleasure. the staff is delightful and eating is delicious. is particularly pleasing the recent renovation.
We had a very tasty afternoon, but the attention of the staff was differentiated. also we have chosen this restaurant because of its vegan selection of sandwiches, since one of my friends is lactose intolerant, but they did not have any vegan options at the time when we went.
We have eaten here often and that was the worst eating ever. the starter of the smoked trout had a haufen on dressed celeriac, which was indelible. cod was tasteless, brokkoli was like wood and very salty. meclun salat was too salty, mushroom tortellini had an unpleasant taste and no garnish.
We had a really great time. The food was excellent and the service first rate. We will definitely return again.
