After a good lunch, as we have had several times before at this restaurant, it took about 20 minutes to bring us the bill. I had mentioned when booking, as you recommend, that we wished to use a Dining Cheque in part payment. After a further 5 minutes, we were told that they would not accept the Dining Cheque. The staff is top-notch and the accommodations are beautiful. Every meal I've had has been amazing. The unexpected perks are a nice touch. Overall, it's a classy place.
The Wellesley deserves a 6th star for their exceptional quality and unique atmosphere that sets them apart from the competition.
The Cigar bar is fantastic. They continuously bring olives and nuts until you are satisfied, and they offer a vast selection of cigars and drinks. It is a fun spot for a laid-back evening out.

Superb room not too big and true to its oval name. Excellent food which was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the service after our meal was brilliant. They brought out a lovely birthday platter for us on their own accord and the handmade biscuits with the coffee were to die for. All in all a memorable lunch.
