My wife and I tried the buffet on a Wednesday and unfortunately we missed the weekend menu which I heard is even better. During the week the selection was quite good. Roast beef, roast lamb, roast duck, roast chicken. Multiple selections of salads, cheeses soups, breads, oriental, Arab and Caribbean foods. The management goes above the normal steps to make his presence know and will make sure you meal is to the stand... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Eight Cuisine International Buffet:
They may have changed the name and price ,however not good quality and food was cold and empty, it was 12 noon on a sunday. I told the waitress that the chicken wings where still raw and she said she told the manager / owner they did not take them off the buffet and we where there 15 to 20 mins after,so if anyone gets Sick I will help as a witness to your suit .if you are going to make this place go don't just change... Terrible. terrilbe.Place was cold no decor it was like eating in a warehouse The place is no longer opened.
Wow, so the restaurant before was disappointing, so when we heard that this place was being rebranded I thought that there might be some hope for this place. WRONG! Now Under the name the Roast Buffet (emphasis on ROAST.) So my family and I headed down four days after their big opening with higher hopes than we had had before. Well, from start to finish this was a wreck, the appearance of the restaurant had not changed much, though clean it still appeared as a large banquet hall and not a comfortable dining space. We were seated and got up to get our first course, some cold things like salad and bread. So there was the option of iceberg lettuce or ice berg lettuce. That was the variety, the toppings were numerous including some chopped tomato, cucumber and carrot. The cold pasta/potato salads were served in small shallow containers that were nearly empty and entirely devoid of colour and flavour. I settled on some iceberg lettuce with a cucumber and ranch. For second course we wanted to get some of that ROAST they were promoting so much, well it was roasted, I think, I couldn't tell the difference from the roast pork to the roast beef due to the sauce and the fact it was thinly sliced and probably a couple hours old. I got mashed potatoes that tasted like cardboard and a piece of chicken (I think) and gave up. I didn't bother with the desserts, I only glanced at them on the way out the door and immediately noticed that they are the cheap spongelike desserts you get that taste like they are three days old and stuck together with caulking. For a Sunday Brunch for $16 I was not only still hungry after leaving but had never been so off put by a restaurant before. Save your money and go to the Mandarin, this place is a waste of time and money. Your mouth will thank you, trust me. Cheap food, half full containers, hot food served clammy and old, no variety, I don't know what kind of business these people think they are going to get after being open for only four days. This place was just insulting.

People will give a second chance but most will not give you a third! Change it or lose it ?
Food is not great, not filled or fresh (lots of dried out, overcooked items) and lots of empty pans, that leave you wondering "what I was supposed to be offered here." Pretty expensive for the quality and atmosphere, we had a 1/2 price coupon and it was still way too much money for what we received. The dining area is odd the place used to be a supermarket and then a bingo hall and it doesn't feel warm or inviting at all. The first table we were seated at was by the window and about 15 degrees colder than anywhere else, being as the restaurant was nearly empty, we asked to move. "Ya I know its cold over here, sure sit anywhere you like." Why would you seat someone beside a freezing window knowing its uncomfortable? Bad training, bad planning, bad service, bad first impression. Servers have no clue at one point saying to our table "wow you guys eat a lot." Reality, there were 4 dirty plates stacked up because no one was picking them up and each one had about 3 tablespoons on it as we tried various dishes, regardless - even if we eating like pigs, DON'T INSULT the guests. They could have potential, but this place needs a lot of TLC and direction or it will not be here much longer, which I would wager a bet on….
Went for Mother's Day, arrived when it opened at 11:30. Other staff was very nice, but the owner told all the guests the hot food "would be about another 5 min. please start with the salad bar ." Well, the hot food WAS ready?! All the containers were full, steam coming from them, there was NO need to have ppl not eat what they wanted! Other then it is obviously cheaper to fill up on crappy salads
