We were a group of 11 women ( I know large groups are difficult to serve) who reserved a table on the patio. When Londonlicious came around this year, I knew I had to visit The Black TrumpetThis is one of the more expensive restaurants in Downtown London.
We sat on the patio for lunch. It is far enough away from the front of the restaurant that it seems like it is a private enclave in the middle of the city. The Londonliscious menu allows patrons to try a 2 course or 3 course meal at a reasonable price. We sampled the mussels, maki rolls, Caesar salad and spinach salad for our apps. The entrees were plentiful, well presented and delicious. thanks to our server Melissa and chef Scott for another great dining experience.
This was my first visit to The Black Trumpet. We were greeted very nicely and seated promptly. The service was attentive but not rushed. The food was also quite good, with appropriate pricing. I am likely to return my next time in London.
