I had some errands to run in north-west London so I stopped to have breakfast at the Early Riser Cafe. The food was basic breakfast fare, well prepared and tasty. The service was quick and attentive. The food prices are very modest and the place was very clean. It is not a large place but obviously very popular with locals. I will definitely go back even if I don't have any errands to do. What User doesn't like about Early Riser Cafe:
I ordered fish and chips for my husband and I for lunch and when I brought them home I realized the portion sizes were terrible. There were a few fries and a small piece of fish. It is ridiculous for the price they are charging. I then called to complain and the girl at the counter told me I could get my money back because of the inconvenience. So I said that was fine and hurried back over to the restaurant before th... View all feedback.
Classic breakfast. Fast Service. Cheap. Good eats. Hang over central! Classic small tables and chairs, linoleum floor, and greasy, but not too greasy breakfast. It wasn't very busy and I have no idea why, this should be a student haven. Loved it.
We have been going there for breakfast for years!! Never disappointed. Great potato pancakes. Poached eggs done perfectly and not water on the plate.
A small dinner, where the staff say hi and actually talk to you. Even better, the regulars will smile and say hi. But the best is the food! Simple food fare, done right! You don't need a bank loan to take the kids out either. Coffee is fantastic!
Wonderful breakfast menu, coffee is always refilled. Seating is fine as long as you do not mind metal chairs. Lots of local events and community news posted. Great Mom and Pop atmosphere.
Took my wife and grand daughter there for lunch and it was as advertised....old time mom and pop style cafe. Seats maybe 35-40 menu is limited but the prices were reasonable for what you got. Service was slow but there was only one waitress so that is understandable. Food was certainly acceptable, mind you I am fussy on how I like my eggs for eggs Benedict and when it came the "ham" was a very thin slice of ham, not back bacon for sure. My wife had a quiche and said it seemed home made and quite tasty. Hope our standards are not too high but we do eat out a lot so I believe our thoughts are legit.Suggest you try it yourself and see what you think.
