Joe's Stone Crab - Los Angeles

This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. However, I was charged for a jumbo crab instead of the medium one I ordered. I really wish I could have enjoyed the jumbo since I paid an extra $50 for it. Learn from my mistake—make sure to double-check your bill!

A visit to this restaurant is a must if you’re in Miami. The crab was fantastic, and the hash browns were equally delicious. However, the lobster mac and cheese was just average. We had a reservation, but checking in and waiting for our table took an unusually long time. Additionally, the dining room was far too cold, which made us eager to leave.

Joe's is a renowned establishment that we were eagerly anticipating visiting. Upon our arrival, we were seated quickly, and our server took the time to walk us through the menu. The food was enjoyable, but I'm not convinced it warranted the price.

The short ribs were fantastic—so tender they practically fell off the bone, yet they still had a good texture. The stone crab was served, but I’m not a fan of cold crab. Nonetheless, it was well-cooked and had a great flavor. The creamed spinach was also delicious, but I wasn't too fond of the potatoes that accompanied Joe's meal. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

This was our first visit to Joe's Stone Crab, and it surpassed all of our expectations.
