The hit-or-miss service included rude comments and slow waits. On the other hand, the food quality was praised when it hit the mark, and the USC memorabilia added a unique charm. Overall, McKay's shows promise, particularly for business lunches or football fans, but improvements are needed to ensure a consistently positive experience.
My first time visiting food restaurant on Yelp taking my friends daughter and friend to breakfast while on their spring break. Made reservations for never was told because it's USC game you must order from the buffet not a great experience as the buffet was a joke. The waitress was nice enough to ask manager for regular menu so I could order something that I could eat also for my young son. Not sure I will dine here again will see
Was pleasantly surprised at how good the breakfast was. For we got a good sized portion of what was ordered so it was very reasonably priced. Our server Ana was very personable, friendly, and answered our questions regarding menu items. She was also very efficient in bringing our food and taking care of our needs. We all enjoyed our breakfast immensely and would definitely go back
Really nice birthday dinner for my teenage daughter. The staff made an extra effort to make the night special for her
Our “Go To” place whenever we’re on campus at USC, which is frequent
We were thrilled to find a reasonably priced restaurant downtown near the show we were going to. The server could not have been nicer or more accommodating and each of us was absolutely delighted with our orders. My daughter had a divine bolognaise pasta, I had a delicious chipotle glazed salmon with a yummy avocado-pineapple salsa, and my husband's creative sandwich was so big he took half home. We found the parking a bit confusing--the entrance is right after the hotel, and you have to keep going up until you reach the metered spaces. (Also note that the directions say it's in the Radisson, but it's now the USC Hotel.
