Contribute FeedbackUn moment a part was much overpriced for its weak cooking. we had ravioli with foie grass that was dragged too unreliability. lachs carpaccio tasted strange. a garnel and fish twer was in order, but not unforgettable. a lamp shaft was stuffed, but had no signs. of browning; the taste was quite strong. dessert cakes were just in order. in lyon they find much better at a lower price.
The first impression is quite good, but after eating it will weaker. Maybe they just try to be modern, but traditionally would be better. eating is not French, but it is hard to say what it is then. traditional duck for...example was with a type twist, but it didn't work. the first bite was good, but then it just felt weird. it is a question of taste and of course many people love it. eating looks better than it tastes. presentation is beautiful. the service was friendly, but we had difficulty communicating because our French are bad.
Nice, modern place. Great food! Sweets are bit sweeter than we like but we enjoyed! Service was very good, we enjoyed our time!
We discover Un moment a Part by chance as we walk in the area looking for another place. It is the place we had our best dinner in Lyon. The choice is varied and original. I had the St-Jacques brochette, very tasty and freshy. The...desserts are a pure delight. We enjoy the quiet ambiance. The service is friendly but always professional.
This restaurant is located just north of Gare Perrache station, in between the Saone and Rhone rivers in Lyon, very easy to get to from anywhere in the city, and is out of the tourist hot spots. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is modern...and trendy. We arrived around 7:30pm and got a table fine without a reservation, but within an hour the restaurant was full and buzzing, but not noisy. We stuck to the 27 euro set menu which offered plenty of choices and value. Service was exceptional and the english speaking waitress helped explain the offerings. We got the fois gras ravioli and the salmon ravioli for entree (not a traditional ravioli dish, kind of deconstructed, like a pasta bake) which were very tasty and a large serve. Mains we got the entrecote (steak) and duck which were large serves again and very tasty. A little gristle in both, but acceptable for the price. Desserts we chose was the molten chocolate cake and a tarte praline which were great. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for a modern french meal, with great atmosphere and service, and of good value.
