I've had a few attempts to dine at Lachlan's because other people have wanted to go there. I have contacted staff in advance to let them know I am vegan because I know they have nothing on their regular menu. With a lot of negotiation, you might get something other than a side dish of steamed vegetables or salad. A quiet place for an evening dinner date with a great relaxing atmosphere. the dishes are quite expensive, but it doesn't taste especially for me. (I had the homemade quiche sirloin steak) staff were very friendly and professional, they are very accommodating.
Recommended this small restaurant. If you prefer somewhere quiet and cosy... Kind staff and good service. Food is ok at affordable price. You may get 15% discount if you stay in the hotel. Cheaper than ordinary cafe, even though it is inside a MGSM hotel. Plenty of parking nearby. Easy access for a pram and the disabled.
Nice restaurant a bit out of the way but adds to the atmosphere of the place. I have only been here once for their quick lunch promo for soup and a main meal and it is very nice.
