Tory Miller does an extraordinary job of representing Madison WI on the world culinary stage through the lense of his own background. This isn't fusion it's authentic Madison cuisine and it's done to absolute perfection. Shout out to sommelier Michael whose wine pairings are ALWAYS impeccable. Got the set menu plus reserve wine pairing. Found the service to be very nice and staff friendly and attentive. The ambiance was nice as well. As a local from Madison, I think for a restaurant in Madison it?s not bad since there?s not much competition as a big fish in a small pond for a gastro restaurant fine dining but I feel like it lacks many elements in quality and taste. Best food I have ever had hands down. The steak was amazing. I give the chef 3 thumbs up.
We did the Tasting Menu. From the start to the finish it was an awesome experience. I cannot express how much attention was given to the food as well as the service. Thanks for making my wife's birthday one that we will both remember and will make our meals from here on out pale in comparison.
I had the best dinner of the summer (year?! last night at l’etoile restaurant in Edgartown. If you get to MV, you’ve got check it out. The newly renovated bar is gorgeous, sophisticated and THE place to be and be seen. I devoured oysters and surf and turf but honestly, anything you have on the menu will not disappoint even the most experienced foodies. The staff is knowledgeable and super gracious. Go, eat, enjoy!
We just had the most incredible dinner at L'Etoile. If you decide to dine here, let them serve you. The Chefs menu is beyond divine. I have had tasting menus the world over and this is one of the best. We had the 7 course chef's tasting menu with the wine pairing. You have to understand the juxtaposition of beautiful food with the perfection of wine. They have nailed that pairing. Don't miss it. We'll be back. I
Outstanding. Food, service, and location all deserve a five-star review. The hickory nut cake with smoked maple ice cream was a particular highlight, but there was not one dish that did not blow us away. Thank you, L'Etoile for the best meal I have had.
