Takara Japanese Restaurant - Madison

I have eaten at takara many times and it is my go to sushi place in the downtown Madison area, especially for lunch. I like takara because the service is generally good and the decor is good too, but the food is very satisfying and delicious. During the lunch period, you can choose rolls for about with a miso soup or a salad. The rice is always perfectly prepared and the fillings are excellent as well. They have some of the best California rolls I've had, and the crunchy tuna rolls are a favorite. I think this place really outshines the other mid range sushi places nearby.

I like takara because the service is generally good and the decor is also good, but eating is very satisfying and tasty. during lunchtime you can choose 3 rolls for about $13 with a misosuppet or an salat. the rice is always perfectly prepared and the fillings are also excellent. they have some of the best California rolls I had, and the crunchy tuna rolls are a favorit. I think this place is really close to the other mid-range sushi places.

The sushi lunch special is a good value and I have always found the food here fresh and tasty.
