We had lunch here, and to be honest, we stumbled across it, being attracted to the odd name, which intrigued us. We were shown upstairs and into the courtyard, overlooking the Orange tree and the river.Everything at this cafe, was sensational, from the food, cleanliness, to the service.The coffee was very nice as well.I do suggest you book or get there early, as this place filled very quickly, by the locals. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member who took great care of us. We enjoyed a delicious omelette and coffee for breakfast in the outdoor courtyard. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I have been a regular at the Orange Tree Cafe for breakfast for the past few months and every visit has been amazing! Charlene and the kitchen staff have always been friendly and welcoming, making the cafe feel like home. Their Bacon and Egg roll is the best in the Hunter Valley region, especially when you add a hash brown to it. They also serve the best coffee in town. I highly recommend visiting the Orange Tree Cafe for breakfast or lunch, and if the weather is nice, sit outside and enjoy the view of the beautiful Hunter River. You won't regret it!

Lovely lunch with a friend today. Very, very COVID safe strictly adhered to. I had the Bacon Gruyere Quiche with fries salad. While my friend had the Loaded Fries with Liquid Cheese Onion Rings for Excellent value! With large...coffees all up. Love my trips to The Orange Tree will definitely be back.

Yesterday, we enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Orange Tree's back garden. Upon arriving, we chose to sit outside with a beautiful view of the Hunter River. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Although it was past breakfast time, we found a wide variety of options on the regular and specials menu. We decided on the grilled Atlantic salmon and traditional chicken schnitzel, both of which were generously portioned and offered great value for money. We spent the afternoon soaking up the sun, watching people and puppies, and enjoying the views along the Riverside Walk. We are looking forward to returning for breakfast, lunch, or even takeaway in the future.

My husband and I had lunch today we sat outside in the back courtyard. My husband had crumbed lamb cutlets, chips and salad. I had roasted pumpkin quiche with chips and salad with a apple/banana/leech/mango juice. It was cloudy and sprinkle of rain but...not enough to move inside. The meals were huge so much so that we had a container to take our salads home. Service was very good and everything cooked to order with fresh ingredients
