Yakiniku Sakura - Makati

This has been my favorite yakiniku spot for a long time (since the 90s!). I keep coming back here because no other place can satisfy my craving for authentic Japanese yakiniku like this place can. Despite its age, the quality of the food is always top-notch. I have tried all the yakiniku restaurants in my area (BF Homes, Parañaque) but I always end up returning here. Like any other grill restaurant, you will leave smelling like grill, but it's a small price to pay for a satisfying meal.

This restaurant may not be the trendiest spot, but it's a classic gem. The prices are very reasonable for the high quality food they serve, especially their delicious bark dishes. The Ox-Zunge (beef tongue) is also cooked to perfection and tender.
