Khan Baba - Manchester

I decided to visit this restaurant based on the recommendation from some friends who had tried it while Akbar’s was packed and Khan Ba’s was nearby. They all agreed that the food was better than Akbar’s, the service was better, and the overall experience exceeded Akbar’s. I wanted to see for myself, and I was not disappointed. The food and service were excellent, and I have found my new go-to spot for dining in this city!

Tonight, we had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were hoping for a special evening outdoors, but unfortunately the staff's behavior ruined it. From the beginning, it seemed like our server was more interested in pushing additional items rather than catering to our needs. Despite specifically asking for plain water, we were served mineral water. We were also given pappadum without any mention that they were an additional charge, and the accompanying dips were charged separately when we ordered a rice dish. When we requested two rice dishes, one of them was not what we ordered. Overall, the service and communication at this restaurant left much to be desired.

Beware of very dodgy attendantWe dined here tonight. Looking for a special night out but the attendant made sure to ruin it. Everything about his behaviour said that he was working on commission. Instances through out our dining experiences listed below.

I decided to visit this restaurant after hearing recommendations from multiple people who had visited because Akbar's was too busy and Khan Ba Ba's was nearby. Everyone agreed that the food was better than Akbar's, the service was superior, and the overall experience was more enjoyable. I decided to see for myself and the verdict is in - the food and service were both excellent. This is now my go-to spot when I'm in town!
