What TheFussyTeenager doesn't like about The Font:
Having lost the Oxford Road branch, I was excited to come and relive the Font experience in Chorlton… …um, where are the £3 cocktails? Or even the £4 ones? Nope, it’s gone all generic, with cocktails starting from £7. Thankfully we visited during Happy Hour so got 2 for £10, but they had to be the same (it wasn’t that busy, though). Mine was meant to be a ‘Garden Party’, but I’m not sure how a thin slice of cucumber... View all feedback.
Highly recommended. I shared a delicious seafood platter with my dad, which was all gluten-free. The rest of my family enjoyed non-gluten-free options. The restaurant was quite busy, so I would suggest making a reservation. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Bar restaurant with seasonal menu and always changing special table. each section of the menu has at least one vegan option, labeled with vegan alternatives where a dish can be made vegan. they store soy milk for drinks. with a friend and we both got a flat pizza (all from jackfruit for my first two choices) and shared some keile with artichoke baba ganoush (non-vegan option comes with aïoli, but we asked to change) and we were both satisfied! a vegan cheese pizza would have been appreciated even more, but as it is the rugged tofu is beautiful when a little under seasoned. we split a zimtapfel cake for the succession and it had wonderful taste, but was incredibly dense and crumbling. one of the servers seemed to have a bit of a day, but all the staff seemed friendly and ready to help.
