Azteca Mexicana - Mannheim

Spent a day walking around Mannheim and got hungry for Mexican food. Noticed a star rating and gave it a shot. Ordered a Botana Sampler (chips and sides: salsa, bean dip, queso, and guacamole) and while not on all fronts (guac needed...some salt), it was a hit for the family. They have menus in German and English upon request, and their daily special for Saturday is off various menu items from to so that was nice. Had an ice cold Pacífico, wife had a margarita on the rocks, my oldest had a "mock-tail" Piña Colada, and the youngest had a grapefruit lemonade with zero complaints across the board. For main courses, the youngest took advantage of the Quesadilla para los chicos (all items under and was satisfied. I ordered the Tricolor Enchiladas (beef, shredded beef, and chicken) and while some of the flavors are more German than Mexican, it's hard to fault catering to their local regulars, and no major complaints from me. The wife ordered a taco salad which while "basic" (her words, not mine), it was delicious. The oldest got a Chimi Villa (beef with chili con queso) and said it was amazing and he's never had a Chimi with more than just meat in it, ow a win there as well. Wish we weren't stuffed, because the Sopapillas sounded delicious but it wasn't meant to be. Very friendly wait staff (I swear they had or covering the outside eating area (there was also room inside, but we wanted the breeze and large umbrellas covered the patio to keep the sun out. Highly recommended if you're in the Mannheim area to come check these guys out

I had fajitas Sonora (beef). ordered without cheese, got it with cheese. the food was exchanged without hesitation. the meet was cooked nicely. the meet quality was good but not enough. too much peppers and onions but not much meet. ambience is nice. staff is...friendly

We wanted something different than the traditional German Food and we came across the Azteca Mexicana Resturant in Mannheim. Our server was very helpful and friendly and spoke to us in English, German and Spanish! She recommended a Mojito for my wife that was one...of the best she has ever tasted outside of Mexico! The Sopa de Maiz was very tasty and a grat starter! The Ensalada Tacos were good but the salsa tasted more like catsup than a tradional Salsa! Overall a nice restaurant for an evening meal

Nice service and location but Food not any special... not original and ingredients not much fresh. The worst Fajitas got in life .. I would not go back.

Great food,excellent service, and great surroundings. i would say one of the best Mexican cuisine in Mannheim
