we felt welcome, even with lively little children, we had not to disturb the impression. I can eat from previous years in other ways and wisely prepared, after my taste earlier better. but all in order and good View all feedback.
What Alyce Fisher doesn't like about Wirtshaus zum Neckartal:
good bourgeois kitchen, but it is missing in detail. for example, the potato salad to the Wienerschnitzel is so cold that it was not to be used as a supplement. I just expect enough soak, taste was in order View all feedback.
The hotel is located in the Feudenheim district of Mannheim. From here it is just a small walk to the Maulbeer Island and you are quickly far away from the hectic and the stress of the pulsating city; perfect for relaxing and thinking. In my opinion, the place to the Neckartal has one of the most beautiful beer gardens in Mannheim, many large trees, the shaded parasols, many green hedges and decorative plants, sufficient space and beautiful plants. In good weather it is almost like a 6 in the lottery to get a free place in the beer garden. How good we had reserved. In the guest room of the restaurant, it goes rustic, many historical left wooden wall coverings, photos of Anno added, yet quite atmospheric. From simple dishes, e.g. sausage salad with pommes, flame cakes, cheese biscuits.... to creative German seasonal cuisines e.g. Zander with nuts crust, deer calf with hazelnut spet, wild roast sausage etc. such as Red Betetaler, pumpkin risotto with goat cheese, pasta dishes .................. On the large slate table fresh offers are offered daily, which change depending on the season, e.g. lamb, mussels, matjes, rabbit owlfish.... And for sweet gourmets like me there is always a nice selection of changing desserts. This time we enjoyed our cellar beer: calfsmaul bag with roasted sage with saladbouquet very delicious. Portion could have been a bit bigger, but still O. K. Feudenheimer Sauerbraten with butterbread, oven vegetables and homemade sauce After the good food we still approved milk cafe and a cafe cream before we enjoyed the way home.
