My daughter recently married in beautiful Corny Point at The Decks - I will do a review for them separately. She got MBC Foods to do the catering for the wedding and they came and cooked and served the food to her guests on the night. The ladies who came were delightful and very professional. Caroline & Liz (I think) The food was truly amazing and very delicious. My daughter chose the menu prior to the wedding and we were all so impressed. The food was VERY plentiful and not one person finished the meal hungry. They kept the workplace very clean, washing and wiping dishes as they cooked and although the kitchen was right next to the dining table they were. My daughter chose the following for her menu: Salt and Pepper Squid skewers served on a red lentil tabouli salad and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. $15.00 per headMain Course 7.00pm $30.00/headSlow roasted scotch fillet encased with fresh herbs and topped with a rich red wine and beef glaze.All meals served with seasonal roasted vegetables, a creamy baked potato and a warmed Yorketown Bakery dinner roll.Dessert 8.30pm $12.00/headHome-made sticky date pudding served with vanilla ice-cream and cream.Kids meals $15.00/headChicken breast nuggets with chips and gravy (sauce)Vanilla ice-cream with caramel or chocolate topping and sprinklesMBC Foods can provide 1 waitress to help on the night with food and drink delivery:All staff are quoted out separately at $30.00 per hour.6 hours = $180.00Great Value and the Wedding was perfect! Our group of 45 hikers enjoyed a fantastic dinner at this restaurant on Saturday night. The MBC team showed their dedication to providing top-notch service and served us a delicious gourmet barbecue menu that was fresh and flavorful. It was the perfect way to cap off our final night together celebrating our hike along the Yorke Trail.
