I have never been to this pub for dinner before even though I live locally. I visited with a group of friends. The meals were surprisingly good. All meat was cooked well and the sides were delicious. My lamb blackstrap with coleslaw and peas was really yummy. Tender meat. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Amongst us we chose the pork belly, the mixed plate of meat and the eye fillet. So first time for me & had heard from friends REALLY REALLY GOOD STEAK. I ordered the sirloin medium not bad was a bit on the thin side to the usual sirloin cut I like. Ordered 2 sides baked verges & cauliflower white cheese sauce and the sause I ordered was the mushroom. Steak was nice & tender.
