I speak well of the columbussur the port in front of the boats to visit the calanques. No service...sweet, not eatable, milshake shockololat without taste, fresh and sweet pressed orange juice..More than 11€ it makes the juice expensive! I totally don't recommend it. View all feedback.
We stopped here as it was very close to our hotel and we didn't want to pay an exorbitant $18 euros for breakfast. WE had fresh croissant, coffee and fresh pressed orange juice for a reasonable price. There is a nice little patio out front where you can enjoy the views of the harbour. Seems to be quite popular with the locals.

Typical american-style take out coffee place. Good coffee in larger sizes you can take back to your hotel. Everything else I found in town were smaller espresso sized cups that were excellent but not what one wants to enjoy with a bag of croissants. Just a note to count your change, the one place in Marseille where the very kind counter man managed to hide my paper bill change under the paper mat of my plastic tray. Clearly intentional
We've had a terasse tea. beautiful view of the terrace. A nice service. The teas were raised.
Terrible coffee, misleading staff and pigeons everywhere! We only wanted to use the wifi to get onto trip advisor and figured a coffee would be a good way to get to use there's at Columbus Cafe. Despite pointing at the massive poster with a cream topped latte and muffin combo for €5.90 what must have been 4 times at least we kept being asked if we wanted a different coffee than the one advertised. But we insisted that we wanted the one in the pic. I picked out the cheapest muffin on the rack to play safe after the pushy barista (I use the term lightly) tried his hardest to confuse us in his French spoken loudly as to what muffins we could seemingly have on the deal. So despite insisting and pointing at the coffee we wanted, picking the cheapest possible muffin so as to stay part of the deal, we were still charged €6.90 for a cheap factory muffin and an undrinkable coffee that bore no resemblance to the one ordered. The picture had cream and caramel all over the top. What came was a straight coffee with no extras. Not even the asked for, and charged, vanilla flavour. Avoid like the plague. The wifi wasn't even any good anyway so we had to go somewhere else!
