Have been to Confucius several times for dinner and it is always great. You pick your starters and second course first. Then once finished, it's onto the mains. The very friendly and attentive staff come back to see if you would like more of that course. Yet another fantastic meal from these always friendly and the very very tasty intact I’ll say it’s one of the best
We have eaten here on several occasions in the past and have always had a great experience . However on this occasion both the Service and the Food were lacking . Our Waitress was not very Fluent in English and we had trouble understanding her . Communicating what we wanted was a Challenge . The Menu , which is quite Long contained Dishes that were not available and it seemed that whatever we wanted to order , it was not available . When we did get our Meals they were not as we remembered but quite bland and tasteless . I think that this is our last time visiting this Restaurant

For starters, we had the Sesame Prawn Toast, Crispy Seaweed, Barbecued Spare Ribs and Chicken Satay Skewers. For second course, we had the Mongolian Lamb with Garlic Sauce and the Crispy Aromatic Duck with Pancakes. For mains, it was the Crispy Chilli Beef Peking Style, Kings Prawns with Garlic Peppercorn, Singapore Rice Vermicelli Noodles and Special Fried Rice. The food was absolutely fantastic and at £21.90 per head, good value for money. A must visit if you like Chinese cuisine.
