You wouldn't think a French restaurant would have a fabulous salad but this one does. I don't eat meat but there's a great selection of other things, my favorite salad anywhere being their Quinoa one. Crunchy with roasted almonds and amazing dressing. So tasty. And the tart is spectacular. Cheese soufflé and bouilloubase pretty good too. View all feedback.
Had a great night here with great goods, excellent service and nice ambiance. I walked past the place many times and always smelt the soup came out of their kitchen. When I mentioned it to my client who has a business nearby, he decided to take me here. The foods were fantastic and the bouillabaisse was the highlight. 3 of us had it and we also ordered the eye fillet steak which was juicy and flavourful. Our entree calamari was super soft. Very well done. The service by Simon and the rest of the staff were superb too. Very attentive, humorous, and friendly. Will definitely come back in the future.
Friendly and very considerate service; beautiful atmosphere (you really feel like you are in Europe! The food is well presented. Every element on the plate is carefully considered and well prepared (I highly recommend the goats cheese souffle for entree! Always enjoy my time at Bistro d'Orsay
Old school French restaurant. Lovely delicious food, though perhaps a tad pricey. Perfect place to bring the parents, or to feel fancy, before a night at the theatre.
Whether you’re a discerning Frenchman or a bogan les named Joan look no further than this nifty little establishment to get your snail fix. Unfortunately they weren’t serving any snails today but you can blame covid for that, or Putin or women with balls it’s one of those. So I went for the coq au vin which I must say was delicious, even through the serving sizes were smaller than Glanus Berejiklians career prospects but that’s what you get when you go somewhere a bit fancy. The gnocchi I tasted was delicious and softer than a cloud. The place was busy yet the service was expedient, attentive and polite. We had a great time and would like to come back one day for a tasty snail and a wheel of cheese.
Unbelievable food, absolutely loved! The goat cheese soufflé is absolutely divine, like the pawns and scallops St Jacques, the Gin Dill cured Atlantic salmon, Calamari and cream brûlée. favorite restaurant in Melbourne so far
