We were recommended this restaurant by the concierge (Hayden) at Doubletree Hilton. Loved our lunch special Shabu Shabu at Momo. The service was very personalized, the food reasonably priced and plenty of it. Add it to your list of places to eat. You won't regret it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Momo Sukiyaki & Shabu Shabu:
for a small eater like me, this is the perfect place - it is what i would call japanese tapas/ finger food/bar food with an extensive menu. i had tasty takoyaki and garlicky pork and cabbage gyoza. it was good to see that they have asahi beer on tap as well as a good range of beer, wine and spirits on offer. i must go back and work my way through the menu. Received an email for the promotion of seafood barbecue today. Made a booking straight away for my daddy's birthday celebration. We had a good time there. Staff cooked the seafood in front of us and explained all the 10 dishes very well. We had a try of the Japanese hotpot after the seafood set. Black Truffle soup base was our favorite. Will come back next time!
It was a friend’s birthday and got invited to dine at Momo ShabuShabu. We were highly attracted by the smell of the hotpot soup once we stepped inside the shop. We have ordered set dinner and few jugs of cocktails. Drinks arrived quickly, perfectly matched with hotpot soup (half miso and half yuzu miso). We enjoyed the beef, salmon sashimi and tiger prawns a lot.
Lots of good quality meat and cabbage and mushrooms. Make sure to put the carrot and corn in first to cook.
