There were four of us for dinner and the food was delicious and attractively presented. The menu is quite varied and there is a good selection of wine, all at very reasonable prices. The general ambience of the restaurant and bar is very pleasing. The restaurant was not full on the night so this is obviously an undiscovered delight. Wake up Melbourne! View all feedback.
What Tristano Sanna doesn't like about Sails Brasserie, Bayview on the Park:
Had breakfast here one morning, opting for the continental and not the hot food. The breakfast bar had all the usual options, although the fruit choices were fairly limited in terms of fresh fruit. Croissants were excellent (unusual for hotels in my experience) as were the smallish choice of meats and cheese. But it is what you pay for and at $16 for a small breakfast, it was fine. Service not to faulted. Very polite staff. Chips best ever and vegies hot crisp. No problem that we only had side dishes not mains. Anne Glenn
We hebben s'ochtends genoten van een prima continental ontbijt. De bediening was prima, maar we werden op het eind toch 2 maal per persoon aangeslagen voor het ontbijt. Dit was echter snel opgelost.
Buffet breakfast was really enjoyable, reasonable price, and customer service really friendly and helpful.
Mouth watering breakfast buffet catering for the healthy fruit and oats type and the greasy not so healthy English style breakfast type.
Ordered the Chief's Special, Chicken Schnitzel Mexicana $25. Received a burnt Schnitzel of processed meat, with limp soggy salad and a plate full of chips. The Schnitzel had a slimy texture, the topping was close to off tomato and dry ham with an unrecognisable brown sauce? No sign of any thing fresh or close to resembling a chilli. If the chilli was the only fresh element of the meal it ran off in disgust.
