Forget the man, love thy food. Unfortunately the food was that good that every Vietnamese Restaurant i went to in the past does not compare. Freshness, quality, serving size, price and great service was 100% for me. I know consistency can be an issue with Restaurants, eg one day it is great the next it is mediocre, i however have not experienced this issue. 1 st time at his restaurant . I acknowledge everyone in the kitchen and wait staff work hard and its heartbreaking for this not to be acknowledged.. Times are tough in the service industry especially food industry) right now , so for this reason I am hesitant to to write any negatives reviews . i will just say give the chicken satays a miss, seafood fried rice and bok choy in garlic sauce. .
Last night, Vinh's was quiet, making it perfect for a large family gathering. We particularly enjoyed the Vinh's Spring Rolls, which were more filling than the typical spring rolls. The fried chicken ribs and vegetable/bean curd hot pot were also delicious. The salt and pepper calamari was a bit tough and heavily battered. The Vietnamese pancake was decent but not my top choice. Unfortunately, there were no desserts available. Overall, it was good value for the price.
I ordered their Banh Canh Cua today (seafood starch noodle) and needless to say that was the best bowl of drop noodles i've had in a while, plenty of seafood and veggie for only $12 and i couldnt even finish it. Will definitely be back for more. Their chilli oil is awesome too.
The food here is so fresh and beautifully cooked. Been here twice so far and super impressed. Service is also fantastic. We’ll definitely be back often
This restaurant recently changed name and management. I was told that the head chef worked in several well known Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants in the area.I ordered the Banh Canh Cua (Vietnamese Crab Thick Rice Noodle Soup). It had a generous serving of crab meat. It was flavourful and delicious. Will come back again to try the other dishes.
I discovered this quaint little gem and will definitely return.
