Westlakes dim sums, Yum Cha and ambience are next to none. If you want noisy, fun good food you've come to the right place. The waiters are rude but who wouldn't be when they're brushed off continuously sa people choose what they want and don't want for Yum Cha. But come often enough and you'll get a smile View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Westlake Restaurant:
In a street full of wonderful Chinese restaurants this one is just way too expensive. The food was average to small in size and very Australian Chinese. Better place to eat than this one. View all feedback.
Recommend to have lunch or dinner at china town. Menu are variety and acceptable price. Service staffs are friendly and helpful. All food taste are great.

This is considered a high end Chinese restaurant selling high end seafood. I would expect service to be good, but was disappointed. To be fair food was slightly above average but expensive.
Seeking a late lunch we were relieved to find west lake which served yum cha until 5pm.It tasted really wonderful, but I found the chicken feet and garlicky pork belly with black bean undercooked and chewy. Then once the rush of yum cha trolleys passed it was hard to get anyone's attention to order more with staff more interested in cleaning the tables than serving.
