What User doesn't like about Yim Thai:
Decent Tom Yum, but wasn’t impressed with the Thai beef salad. Was made with cabbage instead of lettuce, which left a little to be desired. So definitely a hit and miss experience. View all feedback.
Delicious food with a lot of choice. Clearly labeled vegan options.

Business dinner here in suburbia was a welcomed surprise. Apart from being very affordable the food was top shelf - especially for those diners that love duck dishes.Wine list was short but accomodating with the dessert special of ice cream , rice pudding and mango a fantastic finale to the meal.Staff are prompt and friendly so if you're looking for a great meal and nice wine in a budget try the Yim Thai
Park Village, after the longest renovation in history, has finally hit its stride and the management is supporting the establishment of a restaurant row. Led by the long standing and justly popular San Marco, the row features Vietnamese and Indian food as well as a broad spectrum fast food take away. They have now been joined by Yim Thai, an offshoot of a similarly named take away in Yeronga. We had a very nice meal , served in an outdoor area well shielded from the adjacent car park. the area was spacious and very well, but unobtrusively lit.I don't usually comment on the food, mainly because I like eating and it would take old boots to cause me to complain, but we recently had some disastrous experiences ordering Massaman Curry on the Sunshine Coast where we were offered a choice of meats, but which meant the meats were hardly slow cookedand they tasted and felt like it. Here we had a beautiful beef curry with plenty of meat and a very tasty sauce. We also had Ped Yang, a duck dish loaded with tender and tasty duck, and roti bread served in a delightfully novel way.The service was quick and the staff very pleasant. The corkage at $3:50 a head caused a raised eyebrow, but the experience was very enjoyable. This place is going to be an asset to the area.
This restaurant provides reliably great Thai food, it's a bit backwoods being in the Middle Park/Riverhills area but it's worth the drive. We have closer Thai restaurants that are ok too but this one we make the trip for.
