Contribute FeedbackOutback Steakhouse remains a favorite for many, though experiences vary widely. While some patrons rave about attentive service and well-prepared dishes like the bloomin’ fried shrimp and generous portions, others lament overcooked steaks and unsatisfactory takeout orders. Issues such as missing items, food quality declines, and cleanliness complaints often overshadow the positive encounters. Despite rising prices, loyal customers appreciate the consistently good food, though some feel nostalgic for its past glory. As the restaurant continues to navigate these challenges, a visit may leave you wondering if the Outback magic still exists.
Avoid ordering from this restaurant through Uber! Today, I placed an order via Uber, and once again, the Chital Drive location messed it up. The worst part was discovering a hair in my wife's noodles that didn’t belong to her. I ended up having to clean the whole kitchen after becoming frustrated about not receiving three items we paid for. Uber only offered a $5 refund for an order totaling over $124. This experience was unpleasant, unsanitary, and entirely unacceptable.
I ordered curbside pickup, and when we arrived at the scheduled time, we had to wait almost 20 minutes for our food. We didn’t receive any of the sauces or utensils we had requested. It was challenging to eat my salad, especially since it contained a lot of brown, wilted lettuce! The only highlight was the fries. Additionally, the large pothole in the parking lot was not great for my car.
We've been to this location several times recently and have noticed a significant improvement in the quality of the food. However, the highlight for us has been Sandra, who manages the takeout service. She excels in her role, taking orders with a joyful demeanor and always sporting a smile. You can almost hear her smile over the phone when you place your order.
It used to be that Outback was a great dining experience, but those days seem to be behind us. Now, it feels like you’re just hoping the steak is cooked properly and that there’s more meat than fat. With so many alternatives available, including grilling a steak at home, we've officially moved on from Outback. Our last few visits have been disappointing.
We visited this restaurant early for Mother's Day, and it was amazing. When we returned for dinner later that night, we were seated immediately. Our server was exceptional, and we really enjoyed the bloomin’ fried shrimp. Everything was superb—generous portions, served hot, and the drinks were delicious.
