Milang Bakery

Enjoyed my visit here. I'm a bit of a sucker for bakeries. The Cornish pasty here is very good. I had a butter chicken pie which was quite good. The vanilla slice is very good. Good range of baked goods, the ones I tried were of good quality.

I was in Milang for Easter. When taking the dog for a walk i chose to stop in for a pie. The store is small and old fashioned, but funtional. From the pie selection advertised i requested the 'Chicken Mornay' pie.Sitting outside on quality wooden furniture in the warm sun. My dog enjoyed the the bowl of fresh water that is made available for out 4 legged friends.The pie itself was standard pastry with a flaky top. The filling was tasty, nicely seasoned a few pieces of corn and pea in a thick sauce. Unfortunately the all important 'chicken' was hard to detect.If you in the area and need a bite, it is OK. Not expensive but not out standing

A very friendly welcome is always a good indication. Milang bakery is very pleasant spot with plenty of undercover seating. A wide range of products which are all top class are available. Thoroughly recommend this bakery.

The pastries and all the sweets are absolutely wonderful and they have a few tables outside now to sit and have a coffee with a pastry. Their apricot squares and turnovers are the best!!

Dropped in for a quick bite on our way thru Milang. The bakery is in a nice spot with ample parking, pretty outdoor area, was nice to sit in the sun and listen to the birds they have out front. Well priced for what it was but the food was average. Not anything we would go back for. Asked for our toddlers donut to be cut up so that we could take some home, staff advised they couldn't do that (????) as their boss won't allow it. So the staff member gave us a plastic knife to do it ourselves which was super messy and very hard to do with a flimsy plastic "knife" Probably won't bother stopping in again.
