Most excellent!. You are in a top notch restaurant with a well trained chef when you don't have to season anything at the table. Kil@Wat is such an eatery. Closed Sunday evening, we discovered that the Kil@Wat's kitchen provides a limited menu to Clear, the hotel lounge and provides room service. We enjoyed the Butternut Squash soup and the Modern Caesar Salad. Both were fresh and balanced. We dined at Kil@Wat the ne... View all feedback.
What Hans Schimmel doesn't like about Kil@Wat:
ordered the spicy tuna tartar (which was listed as an appetizer, but was big enough to give me just what I needed for a light lunch. The tuna was cool, fresh and bright, with just a hint of a kick (from the Siracha aioli)—and hit the spot being both tasty and refreshing. Solid eating experience. has been going to Kil@Wat for years, but in the rule skip hotel restaurants. the restaurant was not busy on a Friday nght, which is a scandal. I bet rock bottom brewery or any other pubgrub place in milwaukee was packed. but that would be a perfect place to go before or after a show in pabst, the rep or riverside. my wife had the roasted beet salad and the special in this night, clam chowder for beginners. both were excellent. salmon tournado was a perfect escape as the garnels with polnta
Fabulous! we usually avoid restaurants in hotels. but that was such a joy, everything we ordered was light, fresh, tasteful. Of course, the pretzel bakings are great with honey-butter (comlimentary). our table got steak fries (a classic very well made), garnelen cavatini pasta so tasteful and yet light), and rosmarin polenta arugula fig salat (especially great), all the martinis were delicious. loved the tree tini and drink rosmarin. dessert was okay.
Mmmm. . . Pretzel buns. Always love the pretzel buns and honey butter here. Had a great sea scallop appetizer encrusted with potato and cauliflower puree.

The salad also had a bit of a spicy kick, with a little sweetness to finish it off, and was deceivingly filling (isn’t it great when vegetables and a little protein can make you full)
Mother's Day is always a special weekend for my family and I. Since I am the only one that lives in the great city of Milwaukee, my family tries to travel here to visit. We have a great time exploring the many things this city has to offer: museums, tours
