Normandy Kitchen - Minneapolis

We had made reservations and waited a short while to be seated at this restaurant. The delay was due to a lack of staff, but our server, Dawn, was excellent. She was efficient, professional, and took care of us from drinks to dessert. When we asked for recommendations, she simply said that everything on the menu was delicious and made from scratch. The calamari was perfectly cooked with two lemon dipping sauces. I tried the French onion soup which was rich, full of onions, and topped with golden brown cheese. I also ordered a Caesar salad and a popover, which was too much food for one person. The popover was huge and filled me up. My friends tried the tender pork loin and fish and chips, both of which were delicious. For dessert, we had beignets with chocolate caramel sauce (4 per serving). I recommend trying both sauces on top. This charming restaurant is located inside the Normandy Inn and I highly recommend paying a visit. They also offer validated parking and the hotel staff had a great sense of humor, which added to our enjoyable experience.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The croque monsieur, chips, and popover were delicious, and they had a great cream ale on tap. I returned for the steak salad, which was also excellent. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was wonderful.

Great burger according to the girlfriend and we both enjoyed creme brulee. Had a nice 10 year port selected by the waiter. Attentive service during a moderately busy dinner hour. Setting was very nice as well

A cute spot for a drink or bite, usually among travelers and hotel guests. Expect a little slower service, but very friendly and welcoming. I recommend the pancakes
