SCORPIO SEAFOOD & STEAK HOUSE

A total Joke - wouldn't recommend EVER!Our reservation was for 7:30pm, salad arrived at 9:15pm followed by dinner at 9:45pm, stone cold and awful. It looks like they've recently divided the business into two restaurants. The traditional Steak House and an East Indian side. My experience was on the steak house side but i couldn't imagine it being any different on the East Indian side. One poor man running around taking drink and food orders, then even serves the food and clears the table, just before he somehow tries to reconcile the bill - i thought i was on candid camera but sadly it was a normal night at Scorpio.

The food is amazing. The staff are very attentive and professional and great you like an old friend. What you might call 'old school'. But there is nothing wrong with that. Why change a winning formula?Yes, the decor is a little dated. But that is part of its charm. People pay a lot of money in Europe to sit in restaurants that have old decor. Now we are in 2016, the decor is last century and will soon be classed as antique :-).Last time I went it was closed and they were putting up a new sign. I cannot tell you how sad it made me, to think it was closed for ever. Will be going back again in a few weeks and really looking forward to it.

Bad Experience:Please note that I am familiar with this Restaurant under the name Scorpio for many years and knew its former owner who was a very pleasant gentleman. This review is about the terrible experience I and my girlfriend encountered on 10/24/2015 at 9:23 pm and the unprofessional actions of the new owner, Mofaq Hamoud, and his friend Dino, at the establishment now operating as 'Scorpio/Charm East.'Details:The Waiter who was serving me and my girlfriend confronted and harassed by girlfriend, a very attractive lady, on her way back to our table from the washroom. This individual literally was stalking my girlfriend all night and hang-around the washroom awaiting to confront her and forced her to accept the phone #s of the owner Mofaq Hamoud and his friend, calling himself Dino from Montreal. My girlfriend refused to accept the information initially and the waiter insisted and told her to take the piece of paper as he was well-paid by the Owner to confront her to provided their phone #s. Note that the Manager Bill who I spoke to in person the next day said he noticed the Waiter hanging around the ladies washroom and was curious of his activity. Action:a) I called and spoke to this individual calling himself Dino from Montreal who admitted to the offense as committed by the Waiter as being instigated by himself and the owner and he did not deny the actions of the Waiter to confront and harass my girlfriend who was having a quiet Supper with me her boyfriend. His only explanation was that it was just a 'joke' and not sure he or his friend Mofaq understands the severe violation & disrespect to me, and nature of their actions. b) I sent an email to the said establishment Scorpio/Charm East and Mr Hamoud at info@ charmest.com requesting a formal apology at minimum and warned that any failure to respond within 10 business and to not take this matter seriously will result in my submission as follows to relate this rather awful experience as perpetrated by Mofaq Hamoud and his friend Dino. c) No response from Mofaq or Management of Scorpio/Charm East was received despite sending a reminder that I was awaiting a formal apology.Disclaimer and Conclusion: I hereby confirm that all information provided in regards to this incident at Scorpio/Charm East located at 1521 Trinity Drive in Mississauga on 10/24/2015 are the material facts as occurred and described. The Manager Bill was equally disgusted and disturbed that the Owner of this establishment demonstrated a total disrespect for his patron, and would act in such a despicable and unprofessional manner, and compensate and incite his waiter to confront and harass my girlfriend when I her boyfriend was in her presence and having a quiet Supper with her. Bill would also confirm these facts as stated and do have in my possession the phone# and information as forced upon my girlfriend by the Waiter as per the instructions given to him by the Owner Mofaq Hamoud. I will never visit this restaurant Scorpio/Charm East again and have also notified my family, friends and business associates and even the Management of other Restaurants in the Mississauga area of the terrible and disturbing experience of 10/24/2015 at Scorpio/Charm East.

Me And friends loved to eat there the signs have changed people told me that it was a different restaurant now . The sign was still up and I went in the decor was a little different but the food was the same cooked to perfection. They make the Cesar salad at your table from scratch you have to go just for the salad

I've been to this place like 15 times the food is great but the staff lol got the love those old men it's like you come home and dad greats you at the do and the family treat you like good gold and the ladies always get a flower so sweet guys if you wanna impress a girl take her there .
