Imperial Garden - Modesto

First time ordering here. I ordered the Wonton and seaweed soup. I think I would of liked it if it was in styrofoam in stead of plastic. It tasted like plastic so I was disappointed.

I love their salt and pepper shrimp with green beans. Service is great.

Usually love this place, but last week we went there and the food was very bland. The soup and tea was boiling hot. The tasteless food came before I could eat the soup. Don't know what happened there. Very disappointed.

I?ve been coming here for about 6-7 years. Every pregnancy I craved their house chicken and soups. I have not once been disappointed. The food is SO flavorful! As I?m writing this I now realize I want their sizzling rice soup.

I'm going to say it wasn't good at all and that is sad to say because this place USED to be pretty good all around. It is rushing downhill with super sonic speed because of so many different terrible things that were noticed. The food is WAY overpriced, me and my companion did the math in our heads as we ordered and we are not so simple that we cannot do basic math so when the bill came and was WAY above what we added up we weren't very happy and the inclusion of a 15% tip is very presumptuous of them as everything I said to my waitress was totally lost in translation...there was no getting past the language barrier to simply order...so while I enjoyed this place in the past I will no longer be taken advantage of...without my consent that is damnit! ?
