Konnichiwa Sushi Bar - MONA VALE

Konnichiwa always delivers great food at a reasonable price. We keep going back. Their unique offering, creamy prawns, are different, very tasty and very "moorish". Their sashimi & sushi are always fresh and the prawn gyozas are a real winner. Try the green tea ice cream to finish off a great night out.

Atmosphere in Konnichiwa would be vastly improved if they lowered the lights (they're not dimmed like the photo suggests). Also the cheesy pop music jars with a Japenese dining experience: it would be great to have background music which enhances it.Our Agedashi Tofu was undercooked (not crispy brown and crunchy with the lovely soft centre), but the sashimi was a good sized serve and attractively presented.The staff were fine but no personality at all - we felt we were fairly invisible. I'd like to write a better review, but it really was just an average experience and there are Japanese alternatives in the area with more of a happy buzz.

Loved their vegan veggie noodle soup. Great food selections. Nice cosy vibe with cute decor. Would come back.

Been to this place several times, food in general is great; sushi, sashimis and bento boxes are excellent; good options for vegetarian with salad and veg bento.

Highly recommended for a quick Japanese feed. Eat here regularly for lunch and it's faultless every time. The bento box has a great variety for an affordable price and you can't go wrong with any of the donburi options.
