They have the best gravy for poutine. Can never go wrong by having a fried chicken combo and upgrade for a poutine! They also have the best macaroni salad you can ever find as well as coleslaw. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dixie Lee:
Have eaten here a couple of times (repeat only because others want to go), hated it every time. Very greasy, overcooked food. Tried chicken and seafood, all tasted the same, like old grease. Make sure you have paper towels, and something to dip in. Once you get past the greasy exterior, you are welcomed by a dry crusty piece of whatever. View all feedback.
Cashier named Liz older lady with hair up in pony tail, glasses and hat) was being very rude to us. It was our turn at the counter and she told us to wait our turn? She then proceeded to go very slowly intentionally, putting each item in a bag for a different customer. Instead of asking for help from the staff when she realized she needed help, she decided to wait as long as possible to ask them. She seemed annoyed to be there.
Service is a hit or miss. Inside is very dated.Food is VERY expensive.
This was the one of the best feeds of Dixie. Far better than the dives in miramichi.
New owners!!! Went for the chicken…excellent! Coleslaw …oh yeah! The fish and chips…yummy! Poutine…love it!!!
Dated atmosphere but that chicken poutine is AWESOMELots of meat and curds, great value if you need a big hot meal of poutine, they're definitely worth trying at least once!
