The menu also offers delicious soup, burgers, fish and chips, and "make your own" poutine. The cozy family-style environment, prompt and friendly service, and reasonable prices make it a standout choice among the many casse-croutes in the area. Diners can enjoy the food indoors or on the lovely terrace. With a variety of tasty options like Texan burgers, banana splits, and a pleasant surprise of quality red wine, this restaurant promises a delightful dining experience for all. Highly recommended for a local culinary delight in rural Quebec.
Great fries, smoked meat, burgers, club sandwiches...just a fast predictable, friendly place to drop by for a quick meal
Like the lay out and good service. Smoked meat was good, disappointed about the french fries. Not crispy and not quite cooked enough. Still some white spots. Overall good experience. Terrace is great,
This restaurant is well known for its traditional smoked meat dishes - sandwiches, platters and poutine! The meat and bread is very fresh and their fries and cole slaw have a homemade taste for sure. Their menu includes soup, burgers, fish/chips and "make your own" poutine. It is very clean and the service is prompt and friendly. You can eat inside or outside (on sunny dry days). The prices are very reasonable. There are lots of casse croûtes in Mont Laurier. This is by far the best!
Very cozy family style environment. Our waitress spoke some English, enough to get our order right. between her broken English and our broken French. We had the jumbo special which was a 9oz smoked roast beef sandwich, served with coleslaw and a poutine! It was excellent! Top that meal off with a variety of beaver tale options! Yum! Needless to say you won't go hungry! If you like smoked meat, you won't be disappointed! I would recommend this restaurant and I would go again.
Great smoked meat but that's about it. Ordered a poutine and it lacked some serious flavor. Stick with the smoked meat and you'll leave very happy
