Some have had terrible experiences, describing the pasta as tasting like chow mein, receive cold and rubbery appetizers, and feeling rushed by the staff. Others have enjoyed their meals, mentioning highlights such as awesome shrimp risotto, creamy polenta, and delicious beets. The live music and attentive waitstaff have also been positive points for some patrons. Overall, while some have had negative experiences with the food and service, others have found aspects of Cibo to be enjoyable.
Cibos is FANTASTIC!!! Everything is super fresh and really really good.
The Rigatoni did disappoint. Cooked al dente and delicious. Add a couple of sausages to and it is yum! Always enjoy the Tusca Bean soup. Of course, the cheescake tops off a great meal.
Correction: The Rigatoni did NOT disappoint. Always delicious.
DO NOT TRY this place without having the opportunity to send the food back and the option to leave wihout paying. The pasta tasted like chow mein. Not cooked properly! When I think of Italian dinner, I think of well cooked pasta with great flavors. So SAD to have tried this place. Will never try again or recommend. As a matter of fact I will advise aversion, diversion from Cibo!
We are from out of town and maybe should have ordered from a different restaurant. The pizza was inedible, slathered with cheese and missing a topping...I had one bite and threw away the rest. The salad had almost no dressing on top of wet romaine, stale croutons, and three random olives that Im assuming someone accidentally dropped in the box and didnt want to retrieve. The pasta was decent but the whole meal was pretty much ruined by that point. All in all, disappointing.
