We went with a group of 12 on a Saturday evening and were seated upstairs in a semi private area. The service was impeccable, a very nice waiter, very personable and pleasant. Wines were good and the appetizer was excellent and big. Main courses were brought out and I opted for the filet mignon which was excellent. What User doesn't like about Restaurant L'autre Saison:
I ordered the fish special and specified I had a dairy allergy to ensure no dairy was used. My dish cane and vegetables were done in butter. I complained and was told nothing they can do just eat what you can. I spoke to the manager and he was no better then the waiter. When I got the bill no accommodations was done. WORST SERVICE & attitude. Avoid this restaurant. View all feedback.

My husband and I were in Montreal for just a day prior to a cruise. For dinner we wanted to go to a restaurant within walking distance. Our concierge at the Omni recommended L'Autre Saison for traditional French cuisine. With the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor we were a bit hesitant but took the chance, and so glad we did! From the moment we entered the restaurant we were graciously treated by attentive but not overbearing wait staff. Niño and Raza recommended items and kept wine and water glasses full. We both opted for the Table d'hote which was very reasonably priced. I had shrimp in half an avocado and lamb shank. My husband ordered pate for starter and coq au vin for the meal. All the items were nicely presented and delicious. My favorite was definitely the shrimp appetizer. The avocado was perfect and the shrimp in a light sauce. Because it was Friday there was a pianist Alexandre, who was phenomenal. Great music, in the background but noted for the excellence of the man on the keys. He has a wide repertoire and takes requests too.The only slight disappoitment was the creme brulee. The topping was not crisp and the addition of chocolate on the bottom did not add to the classic dish.We would definitely return.
