Went to Buvette Chez Simone at the recommendation of a former Montrealer. We had a bottle of wine and a range of excellent small plates. Charcuterie and cheese were definitely better than the vegetable selections. Wine selection was good, but not large. Our waiters were fluent in both French and English, which matched our party. The only thing i diskike about this place is the general volume of the music, that force everyone to speak very loudly... and make it hard to have a nice conversation. Dont do a first date there i would say.Except for this detail, everything is great. Excellent service, excellent wines, excellent food.New item on the menu i absolutly recommand is the beef carpacio! Balanced, beautiful, and superb flavors.
I recommend this place if you are looking for quality cheese and charcuterie. It’s affordable and has a nice crowd.

The charcuterie board at this restaurant is perfect! They offer a lovely selection of meats and cheeses that you can customize by ordering each one individually. We had a great time at this local spot after a long day of walking and exploring Montreal. Jerome provided super fast and attentive service. The food was served quickly, was accurate, and absolutely delicious! Despite being on a busy street, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this place.
