We ate here twice during our recent stay in Montreal. We were staying two blocks away from the restaurant and it was awesome. The decor is beautiful and a great vibe. The staff are wonderful. What Laury Anderson doesn't like about Les Cons Servent:
The most positive thing was the price, reasonable. We had duck that was somewhat tender, but there was no seasoning. The same for the salad and fries that came with it. Overall, it was extremely greasy, even for duck, all the grease blended together on...the same plate. The price was reasonable, so it might have been OK accept for the atmosphere. Good food, great service and a good ambiance. Food was simple but elevated. I would score the food 4/5 but the attentive service and warm setting made it an excellent evening.
A real hidden gem in Montreal. Creative and delicious plates, a welcoming staff and fantastic ambience.
