What User likes about Pub St-paul:
We needed to get out the sun and this pub was a find! Beautiful views through large open windows over Old Port. Plentiful jugs of water, and Mick Jagger poutinne and four of David Bowie poutinne - all delicious and huge portions!. I would recommend. View all feedback.

We stopped here for a snack after wondering the old port for a while. At first we thought it was closed as all staff seemed to be talking by the bar. Once we got their attention we where told we could sit anywhere. We grabbed a couple of pints and a poutine, all where slow in coming. When we where done the staff again where difficult to find in order to pay our bill. View all feedback.

So it's one of the few cheap places in the old port and it shows.Unless you aren't difficult with food and don't mind not eating fancy (at all) well go! It's basic pub food! The place is kinda big and there was a band playing when I went so the atmosphere is kinda cool.Also, it gets very hot in this place don't be surprised!

Upstairs bar overlooking the port and st paul. space to breath on a busy Saturday in the old port. cheap beer and drink,, dive bar esh but its great. food is good, beer is cold,, good music.. great place to grab a snack and some beer to get out of the crowd.

We had lunch for a large group. Service was reasonably efficient, and the food good. Typical pub fare with beer etc. Beware: there are a lot of stairs to climb.

First came here in the afternoon while touring the Old City. Stopped by for a beer and a snack. The place looked pretty cool and it was not very busy. We just got appetizers and they were excellent! Stopped by again that night looking for some drinks and entertainment. Again it did not disappointed. It was much busier this time but service was good. There were two live bands, one on each floor. The beer selection was okay. We ordered food again and again it was wonderful. Would recommend if looking for some nite life in Old Montreal.
