Restaurant D Lafleur - Montréal

A stop in the field for work. I had already eaten at the dlafleur house and had to bring my friend there. Very good poutine and hotdog. I'll eat the same thing on the next trip. Number 5

Burgers are really good, attention is fast and prices are affordable. It's a place I went several times to.

Lafleur's poutine gave my daughter and I a taste of real poutine!! In other parts of the world, they put gravy and white cheese on french fries and call it poutine, but it's too salty and greasy. At Lafleur's, you can see the potatoes being peeled and chopped in a machine. The potatoes are not actually crispy but retained fresh sweetness. It doesn't get soggy the way crispy fries do. It is not salted. The cheese curds are squeaky. The gravy is light. The hot dogs are more famous but the Lafleur burger is also really good! There's not a long wait and price is cheap. They have a few around the city so look for the colorful awning and GO!

Every Montrealer talks about Lafleur's.This is where the "Steamy" hot dog originated.They go down easy so order more than one.Then there's the fresh cut fries.If you like the fries Lafleur's is the guy!!!!Montreal is not just about the fine food.The junk food is important too and this is as good a place to start as anywhere!!!Enjoy!!!!

Resto genre fast flood, cheap and proportions are huge!!!! their poutine and their hamburgers with fries are excellent....I highly recommend it, it is at the corner of St denis Street and St louis Square.
