The best steak I have eaten in Montreal. Cooked to perfection. Great location and ambiance, the service was excellent. I started with a greens salad and had rice and mixed vegetables with the steak. All were well prepared and artistically plated. I had crème brûlée for dessert. I will be back to Vargas the next time I am here. Bravo. View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Vargas:
Service was outstanding. Very pleasant! The value for the food wasn’t that great and has to be the reason for the lower rating. Also the water I was served seemed to be straight out of the sink. For a few hundred dollar dinner I’d expect you to run it through a water filter. They cost $20 at Costco. Not a big deal View all feedback.
For the first time, big first impression. eating was amazing, personal was very attentive, and knowledgeable on menu elements.

Poor food. The meat was burned because we asked for well done and it was oversalty. Pricelly for nothing. Will never go again
