Vieux-port Steakhouse - Montréal

Outstanding food in an ambiance of unique character. Our particular server had some difficulty in taking our orders and getting them to the right people. This was likely language related and isn’t necessarily the server’s fault.

Steaks were perfectly cooked and large sized lobsters for the surf and turf. Pork chop meal was also delicious. Large wine selection. Service was great very knowledgable, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend this place. Reasonably priced for what you get.

The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. We chose this restaurant for a bachelor party dinner and everyone had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food.

All around an excellent dining experience. A must not miss if you’re in Montréal.

We were expecting more. The steak was decent, but not outstanding. The escargot was disappointing, smothered in too much melted cheese. The flavor of the snail was completely masked. The side vegetables were acceptable. The service was somewhat sluggish and inattentive.
